So the weekends around here have been pretty rainy and miserable lately.
And that includes the wind-fest/rain-a-thon that was last weekend...
...when the Blessing of the Scooters was supposed to take place.
Well, it seemed clear at 8 o'clock, so I gave the green light for the event. But then the winds started picking up... But you know, we got the job done acceptably well.
It was a joy to see all the members of St. Paul lending a hand. Only three of those scooterists are non-members (I know that there's only 7 bikes total, but remember; 35-45 mph gusts and rain in the forecast... we were satisfied.) and the others are all there to support the cause. Thanks everyone!
